A SBF120 company wanted to harness the potential of the Digital to create a new channel that would not compete with its current intensive distribution model.
The client already identified that the subscription based model was relevant in its business. We (1) created a simulation of the online service to test the model and acquire real-life data to then (2) be able to run a Make/ Buy/ Partner analysis to identify which option would be the most relevant in its current context. This process provided the level of confidence required to validate the creation of the internal startup instead of acquiring or partnering with an existing one. The project was then validated by the global board and has been launched in early 2017.
